Lagune 39

DESCRIPTION

Expertise in the lagoon

  • Infusion-modeling for increased weight savings (significant for catamarans), an optimal structure, and greater security for the environment and shipbuilders.
  • Interior woodwork in reconstituted Alpi ® wood, a sustainable source
  • Vertical glazing for improved protection against sunshine and maximum space and headroom.
  • Gull-wing bridge deck for comfort in the rough seas
  • A wide variety of configurations including 2, 3, or 4 cabins
  • Design of VPLP: efficiency under sail guaranteed

External: comfort and protection

  • The deck’s quick, efficient layout enables control of the steering station’s essential maneuvers and fast and safe boarding.
  • Big side decks with recessed deck hatches.
  • The cockpit is well secured, with a wide passage to the rear, a dining table to the port, and a starboard settee—direct access to the steering station from the cockpit and the deck.

Rigging: efficiency and user-friendliness

The decision to locate the further mast aft comes directly from the racing experience of the designers and has many advantages for the sailing catamaran:

  • A complete forward triangle makes a larger option of foresails: a promise of excellent results.
  • The shorter boom makes it much easier for the mainsail to navigate
  • The mainsail, which is comparatively narrower and higher, benefits from better winds at the tip, thereby improving sailing experience.
  • By re-centering the weight, pitching is significantly decreased.

Interior: inventiveness and beauty …

  • The cabins have incomparable natural light thanks to the fixed hull windows, along with excellent ventilation because the deck hatches and portholes open to the hull.
  • The saloon contains a large dining area forward to the starboard, a chart table with a navigation electronics panel, and a small desk with a flap. In the dock’s back, the L-shaped galley directly accesses the cockpit for improved usability and friendliness.
  • A significant innovation is the possibility of a two luxury cabin owner version, a king-size bed, a desk, a sofa, a large hanging locker, and a large bathroom in front of each hull.
