Money and documents

Among the personal documents do not miss your passport or identity card, license for boat leader and radiotelephony exam. If you are tempted to go fishing or scuba diving, do not forget to provide appropriate licenses.
A special chapter is the shipping documents. Each vessel must have a sign-in sheet for boat insurance policy, a radio license and sailing license. It must be checked whether all the data on charter contract is consistent with the information in these documents. Include the telephone number of a man who handed you the vessel and the agency with which the vessel was hired.
Applicability of checks and credit cards in the islands is very limited, so it is essential to have enough cash with you; (kuna, euro).

Clothing and footwear

In the case of clothing the rule is simple: if you’re sailors for all conditions, then waterproof sailing clothing and boots are surely the most indispensable. For those who sail the sea only from June until the end of August it will be enough to take with you a waterproof raincoat, some T-shirts, shorts, swimwear, headwear (with wide-brimmed hat and a string, which you it is moored under the chin or cap with a shield), in the evening sweatshirt or sweater is enough. Even long trousers come in handy (it is useful to take an extra sweater and sweatshirt from thermal velor). For stronger wind take anorak with you.
If you are sailing in all conditions, you should take enough worm clothes with you.

What else comes in handy?

For a pleasant holiday is good to have a few extra things: a flashlight, CDs or cassettes (ask what radio is on the boat), games, camera, movies, guitar or harmonica, sunscreen, lip cream, mask and tube for breathing, fins, cell phone with charger 12 V, basic medicines, notebook and pen, paper towels, flashlight, spare batteries, fishing tackle (license!), sunglasses, candles in the crucible or kerosene, clothes pegs, sewing accessories, scissors, Swiss knife, garbage bags, matches or a lighter.
