A full crew typically includes a Captain, sailor and chef; depending on the size and style of vessel there may also be additional crew members onboard. Once familiar with you and your preferences the crew will happily suggest an itinerary tailored specifically for you; Captains often own their vessels which they sail, meaning they have in-depth knowledge about secluded beaches and tourist attractions in their region; taking advantage of low season sailing dates like June or September could reduce costs significantly for hiring one.
Requirements
One of the key requirements of bareboat chartering in Croatia is having a skipper’s licence that is recognized. This requirement must be fulfilled, with no exceptions made; additionally, having a VHF license onboard would be beneficial.
If you are uncertain whether your sailing qualification is valid in Croatia, we would be more than happy to check for you. As per Croatian law, original copies of both skipper quailification and VHF license must be presented upon check in at our marina.
