Booking procedure

Shortly after receiving your charter request, we will send you our charter offer with all available boats, according to your request. When you choose the boat that you like to book, we suggest to double check the list of its equipment. If you have any questions or special requests, now is the time to check them out.

When you decide to book the boat, we will send you all the necessary charter documents (contract, lease terms, payment terms and crew list form). Within 2 to 5 days ( depending on early or last minute booking ) you need to sign the charter contract and make the payment according to the terms of payment. Upon receipt of the signed contract and advance payment your charter reservation will be confirmed.

For bareboat charter we will need a copy of skipper’s license and VHF certificate before booking. Originals must be showed at the check in at marina.

Several weeks prior to the yacht rental, we will need filled passenger lists and information about estimated time of your arrival in charter base. With this information we can easily and quickly organize the check in time.

You can still book a transfer from / to the airport, order a yacht supply or other service.

At the end you will receive a Voucher for boat takeover with all necessary information about the base.

To summarize booking procedure:

  • you select the boat you want and let us know of the extras (skipper, cook, snorkeling equipment,…)
  • we send you offer for the boat and extras
  • you confirm the offer over email
  • we put an option on the boat for you (option is a non-obligatory pre-booking for couple of days, until we receive payment, so the boat stays free for you)
  • you pay for booking via bank transfer
  • we send payment confirmation to you with all booking documents (charter agreement, booking confirmation, crew list,…)

Request for Availability

Once you have made your decision to charter the vessel, please contact us by phone, fax, e-mail, or fill online BOOKING REQUEST FORM. Specify preferred boat type, charter dates & other details. Please note that charters are usually Saturday / Saturday. After receiving your enquiry we will inform you about boat availability, current prices, discounts, etc. and send you our offer within 4-12 hours.

Option

If you agree with our offer, you can either confirm the booking or request an option. Options have a maximum 7-day duration and are given upon request. During the option period another charterer cannot book the boat. Should it be necessary to extend option expiration date, please contact us as we will try to extend it.
Please note: The duration of the option during the high season or a few days before the commence of charter, is maximum 3 days.

Booking confirmation / Contract

When you confirm your booking, we will send you a Charter contract by fax or e-mail. The account details and payment instructions will be sent with the contract. Your option (tentative reservation) will be held few days more, to allow enough time for the payment to arrive.

Payments

Once you receive the contract, please sign it and transfer your deposit payment of 50% of the total charter fee to our bank account. You should send a signed copy of the Charter contract back to us along with a copy of the bank receipt. Upon receipt of the deposit your reservation will be confirmed and we will send you two signed copies of our Charter Contract by post. All copies should be signed by you, then please return us one copy as soon as possible. The balance of charter fee is due 4 weeks prior to your departure date.

In the case that the reservation is made within four weeks from the scheduled departure date, the total charter fee should be paid on the day of reservation.

Payments of Refundable Security Deposit

The Refundable Security Deposit is due to be paid at the base prior to boat embarkation by cash or credit card.

In order to make a reservation you are required to send personal details for the contract which include:full name, address, e-mail / fax number, passport number.

We respect privacy of all our clients ( please read Privacy statement ). We will prepare and send a contract to you together with General Charter conditions and our bank account details.

The latest, three days once you have received our contract (offer), contact needs to be signed and send back us on our e-mail: i nfo@skippercity.com together with payment of 50% of the total indicated price.

As soon as we receive your down payment we will immediately send you confirmation via e-mail and confirm your reservation.

The balance payment of 50 % needs to be done at latest 4 weeks before the charter starting date, for which you will receive reminder from us. Once we receive the full amount we will send you confirmation and charter embarkation details.

And that completes the booking process. Don’t hesitate to contact us for all additional information.
