Visitors looking for a break can explore Hvar’s quieter villages of Stari Grad and Jelsa. Additionally, there are numerous secluded beaches where guests can soak up some sunshine in peaceful surroundings – perfect for unwinding or partying the night away on luxury charter boats! Your crew will recommend the ideal spots for you.

Hvar is often visited when creating island-hopping itineraries for summer sailing trips, making Hvar an excellent stopover to enjoy Croatia’s scenic delights and all that sailing brings with it. Hvar also proves popular as a sailing vacation spot that boasts many perks and amenities for sailors as they set sail towards this iconic location.

Hvar offers an abundance of sailing boats, gulets (traditional wooden yachts), and catamarans available for bareboat rentals. You may choose between renting with or without a skipper depending on your experience level; most owners require proof of boating license to rent their vessels.

Hired Skipper If you are new to sailing, hiring a skipper for at least a week or more will ensure a safer and more enjoyable cruising adventure. A skipper can suggest exciting routes while helping create an itinerary tailored specifically to you and your journey.

Catamarans are ideal yachts for discovering Hvar’s hidden coves and stunning beaches. Thanks to their shallow draft, these vessels can get close to shore so you can swim or simply lounge on one.

Once docked in Hvar, take a short taxi ride to any one of its many restaurants; or conversely your skipper may arrange lunch or dinner at a local eatery at an additional cost – this must be prearranged with your charter agent in advance.

Mljet National Park

Yacht chartering in Croatia will bring you into a Mediterranean paradise. Enjoy both sides of the Adriatic Sea for their idyllic coastlines and anchorages: on its western side are gorgeous bays with sandy beaches that boast some of Europe’s best swimming, while its eastern side provides quieter sailing opportunities that are still as rewarding.

No matter if it’s skippered yacht or bareboat sailboat chartering you choose, your Croatia charter trip is sure to be an experience of pure joy. Visit some of the most visited islands in the Balkans or dock on lesser-known ones like Solta where authentic Croatian culture remains unharmed by mass tourism; dine on delicious local cuisine, visit wineries, take tender tours ashore to see ancient Roman palaces and monasteries as well as other historic landmarks!

Croatia offers ideal conditions for yacht chartering during late spring and early fall months (April-June and September-October respectively) when mild temperatures and calm waters exist, along with lower crowd levels than during the peak summer season.
