Lagoon 450S

DESCRIPTION

It is replacing a catamaran that has come to be seen as a benchmark is not an easy task. But the architects of the VPLP, in partnership with Lagoon and the celebrated Nauta Design studio, were brilliantly successful in creating the 450.

Lagoon expertise

  • Infusion-modeling: weight savings (significant for a catamaran), best possible structure, environmental protection, and shipyard workers
  • Interior carpentry in Alpi® reconstituted wood for sustainable development (choice of finishes: light oak or teak)
  • Vertical glazing for improved sun protection, optimization of space, and headroom.
  • Gull-wing bridge deck for comfort in the rough seas
  • Design of the VPLP: a guarantee of sail performance!
  • And the touch of Nauta Design for elegance and comfort.

Above decks

  • The construction of the cabin-top provides a more elegant and fashionable roof.
  • A large sunbathing area on the cabtop.
  • The sailing areas are the same as the FlyBridge edition. The lower mast and the boom, however:
      • Reduces pitching
      • makes getting to the boom easier
  • The cabin top bulkhead fitted with a steering position on the cabin top aft bulkhead contains the following:
      • all the maneuvers
      • the integrated seat of the large helm station
      • doors to the cockpit and the bridge
      • an optional extra protection system is also offered, with a tilting composite beam (optional) to close the steering station in bad weather.
      • The bimini composite above the steering area is available as an alternative.

Below decks

  • Nauta’s interior design: beauty and versatility
  • The living room and cabins are exceptionally well lit.
  • Natural light in the cabins because of the wide, glazed hull panels
  • Luxurious owner’s cabin
  • Convenient guest cabins with side access to a double bed.
  • “U”-shaped galley makes for even greater comfort at sea, complete with large hot plates, good workroom, and plenty of storage space.
  • Optimization of access between the cockpit and the galleries
  • Engine compartments distant from the living area and perfectly insulated
